SPANISH & ENGLISH BILINGUAL TUTOR/NANNY ROLE FOR A HIGH-PROFILE FAMILY (SUMMER 2024 FIXED-TERM CONTRACT)

  • Salary: Based on a day rate

Are you passionate about shaping young minds while exploring the beauty of Europe? We are seeking a dynamic, bilingual (English and Spanish) Tutor/Nanny for a fixed-term contract from beginning of May through to mid-end August 2024, with an Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) family. This unique role offers the chance to join the family on their summer travels across Europe and could offer future work for the right individual.

 

Role Overview:

  • Duration: May - August 2024
  • Location: Starting at the family's home in FL, USA and Travelling in Europe for the summer period
  • Working Hours: 5 hours per day dedicated to tutoring, focusing on reading and math. Additional hours to cover Nanny responsibilities, working within a wider childcare team.
  • Children: Two children, aged 8 (bilingual) and 4 (non-bilingual, shy, and reserved).

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in daily educational activities, prioritising reading in English and math.
  • Support the personal development of our client’s children, including the bath and bedtime routine.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with an international team, including a nanny and a baby nurse.
  • Act as a trusted friend and mentor, especially for the younger child, guiding him as he prepares to enter a new school environment.

 

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Languages: Fluent in both English and Spanish (ideally Native level of speaking).
  • Personality: Warm, engaging, and able to bond with children of varying personalities. A strong swimmer, given the family's love for water-based activities.
  • Experience: Open to a range of backgrounds, from seasoned professionals to those recently qualified or finishing their education. Previous experience in a similar role is highly advantageous.
  • Location: Candidates based in the UK, Europe or the USA will be considered with the ability to travel with no restrictions.
  • Accommodation: Provided for duration of contract.

  • Flexibility to work in a rotating team environment, ensuring a consistent and supportive presence for the children.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to the varying needs of children, particularly in educational support.
