LIVE-OUT HOUSEKEEPERS FOR AN INTERNATIONAL UHNWI IN MONACO

We are currently seeking two professional Housekeepers for a distinguished UHNWI based in Monaco. These roles are integral to ensuring the smooth operation and impeccable maintenance of a seven-room apartment, consisting of a master bedroom, queen bedroom, two further guest rooms, an office, and two staff bedrooms. A live-in nurse and live-in housekeeper will also be part of the household team, joining from the Principal’s London residence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organising duties, creating scheduling tasks, and managing daily and monthly task charts.
  • Running household errands as required.
  • Taking responsibility for ordering food, stock replenishment, and housekeeping general supplies. This includes managing expenses, maintaining and reconciling departmental credit/debit card expenditures, and submitting them to the Chief of Staff.
  • Pet-friendly responsibilities, including occasional dog walking and accompanying the Dog to Vet appointments.
  • Ability to travel with the principal for annual vacations or shorter trips, though not mandatory and to be discussed and agreed as per Principals’ requirements.
  • Meeting & greeting guests to the property; making refreshments for guests and principal.
  • Scheduling home maintenance and repair work, supervising projects, and liaising with contractors, plumbers, gardeners, and electricians on behalf of the client.
  • Performing general and deep cleaning of the property, laundry, and ironing tasks.
  • Cooking for the principal, and guests, as required.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Housekeeper.
  • High levels of organisation and ability to run a team effectively.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and knowledge of high-quality finishes.
  • Driven, with a mindset to take on challenges and strive for excellence.
  • Good knowledge of Google Sheets, Docs, and Drive.
  • Cooking skills for occasional requirements.
  • Qualities of humility, flexibility, and open-mindedness.
  • Not a standard '9-5' role; flexibility to work irregular hours, including every other Saturday, and adapt to changing schedules is essential.

 

Working Hours: As a team of three housekeepers, you will work on a rota schedule and can expect to work some weekends. You will have 2 days off per week, but these days will change. Shifts will likely be; 07:30-18:00 and 11:00-22:00 (to be discussed and determined upon successful application).

 

Flexibility is required.

 

Language Skills: Candidates who speak English are a must, or who are bilingual in English and French preferred.
