BILINGUAL TUTOR/NANNY ROLE FOR A HIGH-PROFILE FAMILY (FIXED-TERM CONTRACT WITH PERMANENT POTENTIAL)

  • Salary: Based on a day rate
  • Location: Travelling in Europe
  • Contract: 3-month FTC (June-August 2024)
  • Start Date: beginning of June 2024

Are you passionate about shaping young minds while exploring the beauty of Europe? We are seeking a dynamic, bilingual (English and Spanish) Tutor/Nanny for a fixed-term contract from June to August 2024, with the potential for a permanent position within an Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) family. This unique role not only offers the chance to join the family on their summer travels across Europe but also the opportunity to relocate permanently to the US with them, contingent upon having the right to work in the US.

Role Overview:

  • Duration: June - August 2024, with potential for a permanent position.
  • Location: Europe for the summer period; possibility to move to the US.
  • Working Hours: 5 hours per day dedicated to tutoring, focusing on reading and math. Additional hours to cover Nanny responsibilities, working within a wider childcare team.
  • Children: Two children, aged 8 (bilingual) and 4 (non-bilingual, shy, and reserved).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in daily educational activities, prioritising reading in English and math.
  • Support the personal development of our client’s children, including the bath and bedtime routine.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with an international team, including a nanny and a baby nurse.
  • Act as a trusted friend and mentor, especially for the younger child, guiding him as he prepares to enter a new school environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Languages: Fluent in both English and Spanish.
  • Personality: Warm, engaging, and able to bond with children of varying personalities. A strong swimmer, given the family's love for water-based activities.
  • Experience: Open to a range of backgrounds, from seasoned professionals to those recently qualified or finishing their education. Previous experience in a similar role is highly advantageous.
  • Location: Candidates local to Florida are preferred, considering the potential for this to become a long-term commitment.
  • Accommodation: Provided whilst travelling, and possibility of a live-in arrangement for the right candidate beyond the FTC in Florida.

Additional Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work in a rotating team environment, ensuring a consistent and supportive presence for the children.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to the varying needs of children, particularly in educational support.

This position is not just a job; it's an adventure and a chance to become part of a family's journey. If you are seeking a role that combines your love for education and travel with the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of two wonderful children, we would love to hear from you.

To Apply:

Please submit your CV and a cover letter outlining your experience, why you believe you are the right fit for this role, and how you can contribute to the children’s growth and happiness. Confidentiality is assured.
