VVIP European/American family, based at a large 6 storey townhouse in Belgravia. This is a secondary residence for the family now as the children are all grown up and have moved abroad and so the main Principals are in residence less and less, but require a full-time, live-in Housekeeper to look after their home. They are really wonderful Principals to work for and their most recent full-time Housekeeper, a lovely Filipina, who is also one of our candidates, was with them for 14 years and has only left as she wanted to move part-time.

You would be working alongside a long-standing laundress and handyman, so your duties will be focussed around the highest standards of housekeeping, cooking and dog care (they have three lovely dogs; a cocker spaniel, a labrador and a pomeranian). They are looking for a professional housekeeper who has an understanding of working within UHNW households and who has a high attention to detail and level of common sense.

The Housekeeper will cook for the family and will cook enough for herself to eat in her own quarters.

Perosnality profile: must take initiative, have common sense, be resourceful and with a high level of emotional intelligence.

Drivers would be a bonus but not a prerequisite.

Accommodation is a very private basement flat with its own entrance, and staircase to the main living floors of the residence. There is an ensuite double bedroom, a private kitchen and living/dining area for the housekeeper. The laundry room is located on this floor and the family's gym, however the family has a separate entrance to the gym and they do not need to go through the staff flat.
